Online Poker Reviews (We Rate them on a scale of 1-10)
Note that Poker Stars, Ultimate Bet, and Full Tilt Poker are still accepting deposits from U.S. players.

Poker Stars Players' Rating 9.9 (Accepting US players)
This site is a favorite with on-line tourney players, being the home to 2003-2005 WSOP Main Event champs Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, and Joe Hachem. In addition to the quality of players, this is also backed up by the volume of play with 100,000 players in tournaments during peak hours. The software is first rate and it gives you the opportunity to upload your own image on your spot at the table. You can still find some weaker players on this site at the low dollar buy-in tourneys and the low limit games. Don’t expect to find a $5/$10 game near as juicy as some of these other sites, though. Poker Stars is also a favorite for heads up play.

Full Tilt Poker Players' Rating of 9.6 (Accepting US players)
Many of the top pros play at Full Tilt including Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Eric Seidel and Jennifer Harman. The competition is fairly solid especially at the higher limits. There are some very loose players at the low to medium limits/buy-ins. The gaming software is probably one of the best for poker rooms on the internet, if not the best. The customer service is quite as responsive as other sites but the signup bonus is very attractive. There are'nt a lot of freerolls on Full Tilt but you will be pleased with the offering of sit n go games. This is an up and coming site with plenty of traffic. The big boys better watch out as Full Tilt provides one of the best online experiences available.

Ultimate Bet Players' Rating 9.4 (Accepting US players)
The home of the poker brat, Phil Hellmuth, Ultimate Bet is one of the more recognizable poker rooms on the internet. This site offers a nice variety of games and it does feature some very high limit poker games. The site offers good support with e-mail response times at 10 minutes. The rakes are higher than average unless you are playing the short-handed games. Although, you will find some flop percentages in the 40s, Ultimate Bet doesn’t give you as many fish proportionate to some of these other sites. It is a good place to play to improve your skills.

Pacific Poker Players' Rating 9.1 (no longer accepting deposits from U.S. players)
If you top priority is the weakness of your opponent, then Pacific Poker is the place for you. At times, full ring games can see the flop percentage hit 80% or more, making Pacific Poker one of the juiciest sites around. It is reported that the $15/$30 ring games still can see a flop percentage at 65%, which is unheard of at other sites. The software is has improved a lot recently with the ability to play five tables at once. Most of the action is confined to Hold’em tournaments and Limit Hold’em ring games. The rake is average overall. It is more favorable at the low levels and less favorable at the higher limits.

Party Poker Players' Rating 8.9 (no longer accepting deposits from US players)
When it comes to Party Poker you are talking about one of the friendliest poker rooms on the planet. The competition is fairly soft because of the constant influx of new players every day. This is in large part because of the continuous promotions on this site that not only attract new fish to the games but also keep the familiar fish coming back to play. If you like to play the low limit cash games, the rake will be disproportionately high. The higher limit games actually have a disproportionately low rake. The software is very functional, but it does not give you the tools to find the fish or target the “tables of opportunity” like some of the other sites.
Overall, the games are juicy and this site is one of the top poker rooms. It is also the largest at last count with around 16,000 cash game players and 80,000 tournament players at peak hours.
